My name is Stephanie and I'm new to the community. I came here to talk to others who also have anxiety and depression. This Pandemic has been really hard on me and I needed to find a way to socialize while still quarantining. I look forward to getting to know some people. 😊

Hello 👋
Welcome annmser12 xx
Stephanie - hello, hope alls well. The forum is really beneficial for developing ones self. It is nice to correspond with others outside of the western US, people unlike or even like us in CO & UT. A lot of people are from the UK here, and it’s cool to see how they write and view things differently. I come here sporadically just whenever a feed sort of catches my eye, but there are some real regulars too. Everyone is really nice, interesting & has different levels of awareness. Anyway, on your other post, just wanted to let you know, many of us are lonely right now too, even separated from the ones we love. I’m lonely a lot and I live right in the middle of the city. You know, I always ask myself, how can I be so lonely in the biggest city of the southwest USA...? So it doesn’t matter whether I’m in ABQ, SLC, St. George, Vegas, or Denver, I guess the important thing is just assuring my self that even though I feel lonely, I am not alone. We are all here together, along with the other species on the planet. We get so focused on our own existentialism, that we ignore all the great creatures we are trying to decimate. Anyway, I digress. The point is, I can’t let anyone steal my face, you know, like a random road rager, or a grumpy neighbor for example. I’ve found that there is no kindness in the face of strangers, so I just try and overcome that perception by smiling, not only to myself, but also to others, particularly those scowlers who just want to brush off strangers in haste like eff you, you don’t matter, this is the city and I will never see you again, as I would rather live in my own isolation, “alone.” Well the truth is, we are all one consciousness. So even if you think you’re alone, or that your actions don’t have an effect on others, we are never alone and our actions always effect others. I hope that helps. It helps me at least, and that’s what I love about this forum. I can share with others when post is made and in the end I realize that I have also improved my own awareness. Such as now a much better understanding about the distinction between lonely and alone. Keep I touch, many blessings.
Hi Stephanie! Welcome 😊
So glad you are here! I agree the lives we are living right now are overwhelming!
