First off I want to say I’m here to meet and make some amazing friends who share similar experiences and interests as well as new techniques to help me with my anxiety. Recently, I moved with my long time boyfriend from my old apartment in the country. It’s been about a month since the move and I still miss being there terribly! Ever since the move, my old anxiety has popped back up and disrupted my happiness and health. I have been a Buddhist for 2 years, practicing and studying as well as learning and the techniques that I’ve learned from Buddhism haven’t been much help. I just don’t want to do much of anything like I used to and it’s upsetting. I’m a very positive person but lately I’ve been struggling and am looking for any kind of help

Moving is always a top stressor. Add to that anxiety disorder and you need Time to readjust
your lifestyle. Maybe there are things you can do to make your new place a little like the one you were living in. Bring out some of your favorite items, blankets etc so when you see
them, it might give you a little peace of comfort as well as an "I'm Home" feeling.
Make a quiet place for you to have some Meditation time each day. It will help you feel the
calm and peace you once did. I wish you well in your new home. xx
Aw, thank you! I am trying my best to get comfortable but it’s taking a bit longer than I thought it would. I think about my old apartment everyday but I know better days are coming!
I’m so sorry to hear that! My mom raised me and I don’t remember many memories with my dad that were even good memories to be honest but my mom is amazing and she did her best raising me. I understand what you’re going through. I would stay with my dad some times and then go back to my mom. I’m older now and I’m sure it will all work out for you! You seem like a very sweet person
