Hello, I'm new here. A little about myself, I've had anxiety or panic attacks since about 2013. Its been a fluctuating recovery path. Some months are good, some months or years are bad . The pandemic has definitely taken a toll on me like no other force. Just imagine January 2020, I had just finally gotten over my toxic ex, therapy was going great, and I was hired for my second job which paid handsomely and I loved it, I was in the prime of my life! And then 2 months in. I lost the job(s), therapy stopped, and I was alone, back at my parents. It took me to places I never thought I would be (agoraphobic and hypocondriac) But! I know ill recover soon, I just need to find a community. A place where I can (virtually) hold hands with the people in it and know that we aren't alone, we all been thru it and we will help each other rise up like a pheonix through the ashes.

Yay!! Much love and safely here!
hi warm welcome to you.
Welcome! Glad you found this support group.
It's been a rough year to say the least. We can get through it though.
Keep hope for the future. The best is still to come.
Yes, you're right! Thanks for the positive reply. Gives me hope!
Welcome Heyyouthere33 I read your profile where you stated that you knew you would make it. That positive approach alone will carry you far. From my overwhelming anxiety to Agoraphobia, I never doubted for a moment that I wouldn't someday beat it. And I did and
I hear that same positive approach with you.
Taking small steps forward, believing in yourself and trusting who you are, will get you to
your goal. I'm glad you are here with us. xx
Thanks!! I appreciate you for saying that!
Welcome to a great group. Just want to let you know I'm holding your hand right now and hope you are feeling it.
Hey, I'm a bit new myself but I would love to help. I am sorry you lost your job(s). The same thing happened to my dad, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because when he was finally able to file for unemployment (just keep at it and it will work out that's what he did) we were able to get more money from all the stimulus and such than he could make at any job that would hire him. Just try to look for the little blessings that are hiding I know it is hard it can be hard for me unless they are a bit more obvious but if you try hard enough you can find them, and when you do make a journal so that when you are having a tough time, you can look back and remember how you have been blessed. Another trick I advise you to try is when in a good mood write down everything you like about yourself and either make a poster or make a bunch of little notes and put them where you can see them. I love the analogy you used of rising "up like a phoenix through the ashes.
" you've got this.
