I'm new here! I am just trying to get some support and help with my anxiety and depression. I don't really know much about this, so here goes nothing. Can someone explain to me how this works?

I was asking how to navigate and use the site, but I also wanted to know how much interaction moderators have with members, and if discussion is facilitated by them or if members just post about stuff?

I can help you navigate the site. Your other question is a hard one to answer these days. We seem to have taken on more of a social atmosphere as of late, which is not what the site is originally intended for. The aim is to provide support to those with anxiety and/or depression. While I do see some indirect facilitation by the moderators (inappropriate posts and/or replies deleted or modified,) interaction with members is very minimal. I think that their thinking here is to moderate from afar, while letting us keep each other in check. We do a good job at this. We are a good group. You will get the support you need.

Healthunlocked is made up of several health communities.

The bar up front, from left to right, shows the house for the main feed, the square made of 9 circles for your "hub" or the communities you are part of (with an option to search for communities,) 2 chat bubbles for the private messaging system, the bell for notifications of others' responses and /or likes to what you wrote, search, and your avatar leading to your profile. A yellow number will show up next to the chat bubbles to indicate that you have a message(s). The same goes for the bell icon.

At the bottom of each reply there are 3 options -- reply, like, and report.

Is there anything I'm forgetting that I can answer?

Well, welcome to your first time! HU (Healthunlocked) is my first online platform as well! I started out in one HU community and transitioned to this one. Yes, it does take some getting used to everything. People are very supportive here and you will get tons of support!
