Oh my GOODNESS! That is absolutely stunning! I love the way the colours compliment each other and the striking red helps illuminate the jade and mauve (pink and purple) colours. It reminds me of something flowing being tied together as constriction.... It's beautifully illustrated. Thank you for sharing. ❤️🌹

When people like a wave pass by us we need to act and do something now or that same situation will not present itself again.

And your last statement in the profile truthfully said that after every difficulty there is ease and rest.

So do something now, and don't be afraid of difficulties since at the end of every one of them is rest and ease, after all that hard work !!

Hi Agora! I was fighting darkness and seeking light as I painted. I struggled through it as I felt both very difficult and amazingly happy emotions coming and going... much is linked to trauma I believe.

What are you up to lately?

Starrlight is painting again after years and I am enjoying music again after 12 years,

It seems to me that HU is provably helping people who hang in there and keep trying,

I've never seen any group of people who are more honest and responsive than this!

And I've attended thousands of Support Group meetings (AA and NA). I know now that deadening your feelings with chemicals does not solve anything. That kind of help wears off quick and then you feel worse than you did in the first place !!!

Way to go in the UK for creating this ADAA support group, for people not ashamed that they have a problem, but who know that as a group and with continuous sharing every one of us can and will get Better

Cayman that’s great news. Happy for you! I rarely have enjoyed music in a long time too. So weird how depression suck the creative happiness out of us.

I agree about using drugs/ alcohol. I quit drinking myself 22 days ago.

What inspired me was a combination of medication which allows me to be creative again/happy and my son asked me to paint with him and I couldn’t let him down.
