Hello, I am new here. Have had anxiety for 11 years. Feel pretty much alone as people who don’t have this dont know what I go thru, I don’t want to burden people.

I am also new here and have had anxiety and depression for 10 years. I can totally understand the burden thing. I've been dealing with conversion disorder for a few years now and because of my seizures and dissociative episodes, I don't want to be around other people. I think they will see me as a burden or dead weight. This is furthered by the fact that a bunch of my friends dropped me for being to hard to deal with. The bright side is that once you find people who don't see you as a frame riddled with issues, you will feel so much better. It doesn't happen overnight, but it is worth the wait.

I'm sorry you feel bad. I agree with you if you never experienced it you don't know what it's like. And welcome to the forum. There's a lot of supportive people here.

Welcome. I can relate to how you feel about being a burden to others because thats how I feel all the time. I am also new here. I know that there are a lot of supportive people who are willing to listen to you. I am here if you need someone to talk to.

Hello and welcome. Don't be afraid to reach out to a counselor and others who have experienced anxiety for help. A counselor may be able to help you sort through safe people in your life that can be part of your support system. Please don't hesitate to post here as well. Would be glad to point you to some additional resources as well. You are not alone!
