5mg lexapro

Hello, wondering if anyone had luck with 5mg of lexapro. In the past I have been on 10mg, but I remember always wanting to be off of it. I tried Prozac 10-20 mg, went off within several months.

Recently I went to GI doctor due to the epigastric pain and stomach issues likely related to anxiety/stress, he prescribed 5mg of lexapro and basically said give it another try. I’m unsure if I want to start this roller coaster again of SSRI’s. But I also feel maybe the smallest mg could help. Confused. Any advice or experience?
