Anxiety
Anxiety does very strange things to our bodies so it may just be a severe panic attack going on. BUT, I think you should ask your doctor to send you to a specialist and make sure it's not something more serious. I have lived with Fibromyalgia since 1996 and every time I had a new symptom the doctor would try to just blame it on Fibro symptoms. It's a good thing I didn't accept that answer. And you need to be vigilent with this and find out what is going on. Please let us know.
My doctor assume I have vertigo I went through numerous blood work ct scan and had a mri done last year in August it was normal but this sensation just started about three months ago idk when I started back having panic attacks this year in March that feeling was in my chest around my heart than it left it went to my stomach and now it’s in my head which is strange so I’m go see a neurologist again
I’m going through something similar. It’s been happening on and off for years on a much smaller scale but three weeks ago I took antibiotics and went into a complete tailspin. Having heart palpitations shaking constantly going into my fourth week today.Having severe GI issues. I lost 15 pounds in the last three weeks. I have researched it and think it’s a vagus nerve disorder, tied to a gut imbalance. Back in June I went to the ER and they tested me for Covid and then sent me home. It had started to feel better but then three weeks ago it came on again and that’s when I started antibiotics for what I thought was an upper respiratory infection. It turns out that the pulmonary doctor said my lungs were OK but I had Gerd and that was causing acid to back up into my nose and lungs at night, causing me to feel like I couldn’t breathe. It’s hard to get a doctor appointment but I have a couple lined up this week. I had an abdominal ultrasound last week but they won’t give me the results until I talk to the doctor. it’s been a struggle just trying to get simple answers. I also have a history of some autoimmune issues including with my liver so I don’t know what is going on. I totally relate to what you’re saying and I hope you can find answers too. I will say that after taking probiotics the last couple days I have started to improve but I’m not out of the woods yet. This evening I had what felt like a horrible panic attack after eating some cereal. I really believe it is tied to the gut and restoring bacterial balance. There’s lots of research out there and I started to go down that rabbit hole in desperation the last couple weeks.
Wow omg that’s a lot to go through anxiety make us go through so much symptoms we think the worse I been so much with this new symptoms everyday we gotta be strong and pray and fight this
I’m doing some meditation using the Calm app and massage and stretches for circulation. Those are just some of the things that I think I can do when I have some energy. Like you said you got to stay strong and keep pushing through it. You’ll be OK.
I have similar sensations - my therapist says if they come and go, it’s anxiety. If when you are having a good day / moment and you don’t notice the pains, it’s highly likely that they’re caused by your anxiety. I had the weirdest head pains for weeks and after a couple of therapy sessions and starting daily meditating, these pains have just gone.....I couldn’t believe it!
By all means get checked out with your doctor, but anxiety can really produce some profound physical symptoms - it’s brutal!
