Any input

Completely off depakote. Temazepam to somewhat sleep and Effexor. Xanax for when I want to smash my fist through every sickening smiling who has the nerve to tell me about their happiness. Any thoughts?

This is all coupled with reading, exercise and training with edged weapons to try and focus.

That’s been talked about but I’m not wholly ignorant to the process. I research everything they put me on and therapy methods so I’d see what they’re trying to do and resent it

Why not try it instead of resenting it? No one can cure you except you. Therapy can help sure, but if you fight it then nothing will change.

Oh not having a go but swearing isn't allowed here so can you edit out the f word please. To edit click on the 'more' option under your post. Thank you.

Didn’t mean to offend anyone with what I’m feeling or thinking. Won’t happen again.

No worries and thank you for editing it out. I would rather give a friendly nod than report it.

After about 30 years of depression -on and off about 20=25 times I finally got diagnosed probably pretty accurately, as these thing go with bipoiar 2 and was prescribed what I understand was the "correct treatment," Depakote, I found no good affects from it and in fact suffered longer and deeper depressions.

Paid for a second opinion and that psycho doc said very reasonable to come off it gradually which I did and for over a year was much improved. Now over a year later things are probably worse that ever We are all different, in fact I doubt there is any such condition as bipolar two. Your experience may well be different but there is probably a slight statistical advantage in following your Psycho docs's advice --But not very much. They'll probably know how the human brain works before the 200 +years of psychiatry comes up with anything remotely useful.

It appears to be a recognised condition.
