how do you deal with relapsed anxiety? I was struggling with low level gad since my stress is going up my old "friend" decided to pay me a visit after 9 years. Even tough I knew at some point he would come back cannot still accept his visit and vivid old memories of struggling.

Hi, It is always disappointing when a condition recurs (statistically more likely after 1 or more episodes). I feel that you might be in a better place now to deal with your "friend". If you can recall what you did to cope well or the meds you took, then you will be much better off than starting from scratch. Wishing you all the best

I never took any meds. Time was my cure.. Agreed that the stressors has to fade also..
