Burned out

I am burned out. I recently changed career paths, I am a full time grad student and I am terrified of this pandemic and I feel as if I am losing control. I pray that The man above gives me the strength to take on any challenge and the strength to face this awful monster called Depression. To others that can relate, I pray for you also.

Sorry to hear your suffering from burnout. I have been suffering from burnout over the last 13 weeks. It is horrendous! Have you spoken to a doctor recently about therapies or medication? Have you got family members or friends you can reach out to? I currently do talking therapy and I am also on medication. It's a long a bumpy road but please remember you are not alone and you will not feel like this forever.

I have I had to medically withdraw but I reached out and got some help. This Pandemic has been something else. I am homeland security and everyday one of my coworkers catches Covid. I have had medication adjustments and I am still hanging in there.

Being a student should give you access via student services to some counselling at this time. You are much stronger with someone walking with you in battle with the monster. Give the office a call. Everything is confidential.

Thanks for the advice it is hard to walk alone. I got help but I am still between kind of stuck. I basically did too much at one time. I will make it through though. Thank you for the encouragement!
