keep hearing low humming

Been hearing this low frequency humming, like a machine humming, the engine of a car, distant traffic. Theres something wrong with my ears because my family can't hear anything. it's driving me crazy

it could be tinnitus maybe do you have ear drops it could just blocked up if its an infection i use Otomize and that needs to be prescribed.

Is it Tinitus? There is a Tinitus forum on hear, you could read through some posts.

The best thing to do is to get an appointment with your GP. Hopefully, after the telephone consultation, they will give you an appointment. Once your ears have been examined you will know if you have any earwax deep down. Once that's treated you may find your symptoms improve.

sounds like tinnitus to me ....probably next time you see a doctor get it checked out. Sadly, if it is tinnitus there is no cure.

I've had tinnitus since birth, but its a high pitch ringing sound. this one is new and much more annoying, I really hope I didn't develop a new tinnitus sound

You possibly need to have ear wax removed. Best to see your GP as soon as possible.

Having wax removal treatment will help, if this is the problem.

If Olive Oil drops don't remove it all, they will soften it to help with the removal by suction.
