What wonderful little insect the busy bee , and the way it goes around its business without a care in the world, humming it way through thousands of flowers , in its short little little life, and producing one of the finest natural products known to mankind ( honey), all tastes of different flavours all depends on what flowers its been pollinating, what a marvellous little thing,and apparently its aerodynamically impossible for a bumble bee to fly, different to our honey bee's 🍯 🐝 😊

Yes , the people from Manchester have also been " christened" with the same title busy as bee's going back many hundreds of years, the town centre is often covered with miniature logos of the bumble bee dotted around various locations for thier industrious hard work, even the famous Boddington brewery had a couple of bee's on thier logos, funny how a little insect can grab your attention 🥰

My lawn hasn't been mowed yet. Deliberately, even though it led to "discussions". The wild violets and dandelions are welcome. They even evoke memories of mom making dandelion salad after we went picking.

Bees are very unlikely to sting you if you're calm when they're near you. Bees used to go for a stroll on my bare arms without a problem.

They don't want to sting you. It would mean their own unpleasant death.

Hornets, on the other hand...
