I feel this way at times too.
It's hard because a lot of affirmations feel too idealistic, if not plain bogus, to me.
I try to practice self-compassion (find info on YouTube through kristin neff and others) and say kind things to myself that are also believable to me,
for example: this is really hard, you'll get through this, there is strength in you.
Even though there are many "daily affirmations" out there, if they don't suit you, write your own,select your own words.
I also think it helps to employ "non-thinking" solutions.
My examples for these are: being outside(especially staring at big gorgeous trees) listening to music that really moves me, moving my body (anything!)
We think we can think our ways out of a problem, sometimes it's best to move and some sunlight will reach into the mind.
