How to deal with dizziness and fainting

Anxiety has always made me feel light headed and dizzy and although it was pretty bad I got through the worst of it. But this morning I got up to go get something from the kitchen and when I reached up I just passed out for a few seconds. That probably doesn't sound like a big deal but i've never fainted or passed out before and it shook me up a bit and set off my a fiery which only adds to the dizziness. Since then I've felt weak, dizzy, nauseous, light headed, headaches, fatigue, facial pain... and I'm quite worried.

How do I deal with this? Should I be worried? I guess I just need some reassurance and help. Just when I think I'm doing well something else crops up!

Yes I've been eating completely normally and trying to drink more water than I usually do because I don't drink near enough (but that's never had an effect before)

You Passed Out ?* You Hit The Floor Blacked Out & Woke Up A Few Seconds or/ Minutes Later ?* I've Been So Lightheaded & Dizzy That I Thought I Was Blacking Out [ from hyperventilating ] But Never Really Fell Out Though.

Passing OUT Is A Serious Dangerous Situation.

Since then I've felt "weak", dizzy, nauseous, light headed, "headaches", fatigue, "facial pain" ? Look, Anxiety Is Terrible. But ! DO NOT Take Other Things More Serious For Granted.

You should consider these symptoms warning signs and consult your health care provider:

Sudden weakness or numbness in the face, arm, or leg on one side of the body.

Abrupt loss of vision, strength, coordination, sensation, speech, or the ability to understand speech. These symptoms may become worse over time.

Sudden dimness of vision, especially in one eye.

Sudden loss of balance, possibly accompanied by vomiting, nausea, fever, hiccups, or trouble with swallowing.

Sudden and severe headache with no other cause followed rapidly by loss of consciousness -- indications of a stroke due to bleeding.

Brief loss of consciousness.

Unexplained dizziness or sudden falls.

That Is Also The Some Symptoms Of A Stroke.

PLEASE Don't Be Afraid. > But If You EVER Lose Consciousness ?

You Call 911 !*

It Is Better To Be Safe Than Sorry.....

Prayers For Ya ~*

Yes I hit the floor don't remember anything and then woke up a few seconds later. My mother said she's experienced it before and I often get extremely light headed when standing up to quickly and have done for years. If things don't get better I'll book an appointment with my doctor when the surgery opens on Monday. Thank you.

It can be awful can't it. I hope you feel better soon!

I felt the same way when I started knowing I had anxiety.

I didn't know what to do and I only fainted once as well.

Then I began to remove certain foods and beverages from my diet which helped to a certain degree to ease off the pains.

Especially foods high in fibre and caffeine. You should consider not taking them for a while and see how it helps.

Hope you will feel better, I know the symptoms are very painful.

I know it can seem overwhelming to deal with anxiety. Have you thought about having a good checkup at the Doctor's office? I would try that first to make sure nothing physical is going on. Sometimes being overwhelmed can cause anxiety. Have you thought about making a checklist of all the things that make you feel overwhelmed? I did this and started just checking off things that I really do not need or need to do. I want to encourage you to just rest. There is a difference between sleep and rest. It is ok to rest and take quiet time. It helped. I am going to attach a resource that might help as well. Thinking of you. desiringgod.org/articles/th...

Thank you so much. I had a check up a few months ago when I was having chest pains and all was fine but I might go back if things don't get better. I'll try out the checklist thing and article too.

I'm sorry you are going thru this. Try to remember the details leading up to the incident and write it down.
