How do you deal with the anxiety to go to sleep? I am dreading for the night already. I suffer from depression and anxiety wich is worsend by sleep devrivation. This makes it even more important to sleep what causes the pressure to sleep.
I am afraid i cant fall asleep and struggle all night wich makes me feel anxious with attacks. Of course you dont sleep then. But its a vicuous cycle right now. Sometimes i feel that my mind and body wants to sleep and i get all tired but then my mind is like 'wow you are about to sleep, you are going to feel so good tomorrow,...and more of that... And BAM i am all exited and still cant sleep. You see the struggle here? I was wondering if anyone can relate or has some tips for me.
much appreciated

maybe a supplement. I literally can't sleep if I don't take some melatonin. or doing something really boring like reading a couple pages of a boring book. Make sure your not too hot or cold. Trying to fall asleep does not work. It adds pressure which results in more anxiety.
Clonazepam may be very helpful for you but you’ll want to use it short term only. It can be extremely difficult to come off of it if you use it as a long term thing. I’m experiencing that right now.
I can certainly relate Jerry. I haven't slept for 3 nights same symptoms as you. Meds aren't helping and all of mine are depressants. Diazepam, duloxetine, depakote, Pregablin, propranolol and Amytryptamine.
