I’ve always suffered with terrible anxiety and depression but this time it’s different. I am miserable. I’m unwell everyday, I have genuinely no energy and I’m constantly tired and by tired I mean EXHAUSTED. The simplest thing like getting out of bed to sit in the garden on a beautiful day like this is difficult. I suffer from GAD and i have GERD and IBS and because I’ve been so unwell recently doctors are doing more tests to see if there’s something more serious going on. (Last bloods in March we’re completely normal, doctor tested more last Tuesday still waiting on results) I don’t know. I’m 21 years old. All I know is I’m constantly fearing for my health and miserable I dont remember the last Time I felt good and healthy!! I have aches and tightness all over my body (asked about fibromyalgia) All I see are my friends and people I know out being productive, seeing friends&family (now it’s allowed in UK) going runs etc and all I’ve done is lie in bed feeling empty and miserable. Is there an end to this? Seems hopeless just now

Feeling miserable
Sounds like you have a physical health issue and your depression is a result of it
Do you have allergies ? What healthissues have you had in the past ?
I have been diagnosed with IBS and GERD and have suffered with extreme panic attacks and anxiety since I was 11/12 I was on anti depressants through my teens and decided to stop taking them a few years ago and change lifestyle habits (I’m 21 now) but these symptoms have only come on since around November and recently have been progressively worse the past 2 months, I suffer hay fever but not to the same extent others do x
Can I suggest you try having flaxseed oil either 2 teaspoons per day or 2 x1000 mg capsules
Also B12 maybe beneficial I am taking a high dose make sure you get the yeast based one not the arsnic one
The flaxseed oil will help depression and more the B12 is great for energy it helps you utilise iron
Not knowing is a worry but remember the body really works hard to get better again and you are young I hope you get better soon
If you suffer Anxiety, how will you feel when all the tests come back negative, showing nothing wrong. Will that help you understand you have nothing to worry about.
Anxiety can make us all feel unwell or worried about our health, these tests should be a welcome result so you can move on

I hope so! I’m so quick to assume the worst. Thank you for your reply 🙂
I’m terribly sorry you are feeling so bad. I began experiencing physical symptoms similar to yours when I was in my 20’s (many years ago). It’s common for anxiety to kick in and wreak havoc at that age—there are so many life tasks and uncertainties before you and you are supposed to sort through it all and make something of your life with very little experience under your belt.
My anxiety manifested itself in physical pain—dizziness, intestinal discomfort, headaches, muscle aches and general malaise. I always felt bad.
I hope you will get checked out to eliminate the possibility of an ailment that needs to be addressed. But don’t be surprised if nothing is found. That doesn’t mean you are well—you’re not—how could you be when you feel so bad? But you will need the help of a good mental health expert.
Dealing with the physical manifestations of anxiety has been a lifelong journey for me, but I can say that you CAN learn to cope and you can have a good life.
Just also remember that dealing with physical stuff is not the end of the world. You find ways to deal, you find ways to live life and make the most of your energy. learning what is or is not going on with your body can take years of appointments tests ect. So finding ways to deal with where you are right now. (Look at pacing). also anxiety sucks.
Also I normally have normal bloods, but they don't test for everything and they know my body is werid.
