Hi all, I haven’t been on here for a while, I normally come here when I’m feeling down or my anxiety kicks off. I’ve been pretty good and content recently and sleeping well but I got that feeling earlier today it’s like a warning sign for me and I knew I would be having a bad night, so I’ve got out of bed and I’m sat trying to relax and distract my thoughts. I find that putting a post on here helps me and the positive replies give me strength.
I’m not sure what has triggered me off maybe a combination of many things work, family problems even this Covid 19 situation I tend to overthink at night, well hopefully this will fade away and I can get a few hours sleep. I know I’m not alone

Hello, there are a few apps that help me a lot when I am anxious but need to sleep. One of my favorites is called Shhh and it is free (hope it still is) and I am guaranteed to go to sleep with their 20 min power nap selection. Health Journeys Guided Imagery is another good one. Worth a try!
