Hello, I would like to question why stress and panic attacks come especially at nights? I heard different things about hormones...?

I’m not sure why that happens at night. Maybe because your finally winding down from the day and your able to process it, if that makes sense. I know for me I might let something slide during the day and at night remember.

Yes, this is true ... at nights your mind try to remember each situation with every detail...

Yeah and it can be hard trying to go to sleep with What if’s looping in your head. I try to take a nice shower, spray my pillow with pillow mist (bath and body works), do yoga stretches while listening to meditation music. It keeps me calm and makes me tired so when I finally lay down it’s easier to fall asleep. Let me know what you try!

I try to watch TV series to get rid of my thoughts... I think that this situation happens because of the final university exams...I take eschitalopram medication for a few weeks and the first 2-4 weeks of the medication I had gradually disappearing symptoms.. After 5 -7 weeks I was feeling grate but know is probably a relapse. What I call stress at this moment is actually waves of nausea coming in on fractions of a seconds and diminsh.... and that symptom is the same with these when my stomach tried to accustom the pill (escitalopram)... so I know that is psychological and not somthing else, because when i study or drive or train I don't think about it and I feel perfect....

Hi

It’s certainly true that when you are alone in your bed at night, you possibly don’t have the distractions that you would have in the daytime.

This enables all those worries and negative thoughts to come creeping into your mind. If you are not really tired when you go to bed then sleep will not come quickly, this then allows your mind to have free reign.

If you are feeling worried during the day make sure you exercise regularly so you are tired when you go to bed, if you can’t do this then write down your worries and promise yourself you will do something about them the next morning.

It is a natural phenomena for these thoughts and fears to happen at night, but you can work out a routine which may help you to overcome this anxiety.

I would advise you to see your doctor if you are worried about hormonal imbalance as this can affect your sleep and can be addressed with medication.

I hope this helps❤️

At night we are alone and in the dark just thinking negatively and WE are scaring ourselves. We can turn this around by thinking the “now” situation and NOT the WHAT IFs!!! Try it please and you will be pleasantly surprised . You can also sing your favourite song in your head or out loud!

Stay safe my friend.
