GeneSight or other gene testing for finding the “best” medication

hey i’m wondering if anyone has used a gene testing service to find the best medication for them and how it went. also what service did you use and did they take insurance? i have medicaid and genesight says they take it but it seems to good to be true.

Genetic testing is in most occurence just a huge moneypot for the companies that do it. The complexity of human genome cannot be funneled into few known genes, there are just too many unknowns. Academic research has abandoned most of this decade ago and shady sales companies are now picking this up.

I would suggest if you suffer from drug-resistant anxiety or depression perhaps seek out a naturopath who could help you identify the root cause of your problems. Drugs don't heal, they were never meant to.
