Hi all,

So I’ve had anxiety since I was 12 and I am now 26. I used to be on Zoloft, which worked great then I switched to lexapro which I didn’t do well on, I was always tired. Recently, about 3 months ago, I started Zoloft again, I went from 50mg to 100mg. About 2 weeks ago I started waking up in the middle of the night but I can’t tell the difference between reality and a dream. I know I’m awake but it doesn’t feel real. Does this happen to anyone else? I don’t want to use the word “hallucinations” but it’s almost like one

I get hallucinatory nightmares and its really hard for me to know if I am dreaming or not but one thing I found is if I tried to move or speak it felt like I was doing it outside of my body. When I felt that I realized I must be in a dream and then normally I would wake up so maybe finding a cue or something to tell yourselves if you are dreaming or not could help you.
