Hey guys im kinda new to this website. About 4 years ago i had symptoms unknown such as weird feeling in head, big changes in vision or blurryness, seeing shadow, feeling dizzy, upper gi issues and sweatiness in hands and feet. I was in the er multiple times and they did tests and found nothing health related. I ended up getting on zoloft 50mg, which helped with those feelings i had everyday i just named, and lorazepam as needed. I was on the zoloft for about 2 years maybe less then decided to come off because i felt normal again. But just recently those symptoms appeared again. Its almost like it started with vision changes, ringing in ears, and feeling like im outside of my body or something. I went to the er again because of this as well as a fullness like i had to go to the bathroom when these symptoms started getting worse. I started zoloft again as well as the lorazepam. Also pepcid for my heartburn. My question is if this happened because of a chemical imbalance in my brain or is it that i have an actual anxiety disorder? Or is it that i need to be on zoloft longer? I really want to figure out this ongoing problem in my life that has been going on the past 5 years. Any input would help.

Not sure whats wrong with me, plz help with any advice/knowledge
With anxiety and health symptoms it is case by case. I know that myself as well as other people with anxiety, there can be a tendency to worry and over analyze health symptoms. I check my health symptoms with my known anxiety symptoms or my current state of health, such as did I skip meals? Skipping meals for me makes my anxiety worse. Did I get enough sleep? Did i change something in my routine? I always try to check with my anxiety first but if I am ever unsure I will make an appointment with my doctor. They will understand.
Hi Mike, I had similar symptoms and after several months visiting several doctors finally got an MRI. It revealed an acoustic neuroma, a benign tumor of the ear. Had radiation and the tumor has shrunk after several years.
I think speaking with your doctor is the best first step to figuring out what’s going on with your body. I personally have GERD which is severe acid reflux and when my anxiety spikes so does the GERD and I end up puking non-stop and have to go to the hospital to stop the wrenching. It takes me days to get my appetite and energy back. Stress and anxiety can wreak havoc on your body so finding your triggers and symptoms is important. Sending hugs!
I would go to the doctor and get a full brain scan but to me it just sounds like symptoms of depersonalization/derealization which is what i have
Ive had a ct scan of my head done. Would that show anything?
Wat do you take to help with the symptoms
