Does anyone else experience blurred vision?

So my doc recently upped my dosage of Zoloft from 50mg to 100mg about two weeks ago. A week ago I started to realized that I couldn't read what my professors were writing on the whiteboards. I just left a message for my doc so hopefully she gets back to me but has anyone else experienced blurred vision on zoloft?

Yes but I also have an eye disease that exasperates the blurred vision. It sucks and causes migraine since I work on the computer a lot.

But get you vision checked to. Just in case. 👍🏻

That is not a known side effect, maybe something else is causing it? Are you on any other medications?

It actually is a known side affect but it is not common. The only other thing that could be causing it is my hypothyroidism. But I'm really not sure!

But it’s not like a major one, like your genetics must be prone to get the side affects, when can you see your doctor again?

Please discuss it with your doctor, as a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner, I have never seen that side affect in my patients so I will keep a look out for that now!

Yes when on this I did too, I just weaned myself off it and tried natural remedies. But I was on a dose of steroids at the time too which does it. I now have the beginning of cataracts. There is a cure though. It's worth seeing the optician as well as the dr as they can do a closer examination and help.

No, I was on 150 mg. No blurred vision. Eliminate all the other possible causes before quitting. Phone screens, iPads, computers, newer TVs, glasses prescription, nutrition, sleep, dry eye, etc. can all cause blurred vision.
