Saw a great movie tonight that made me realize that after years of 12 step support groups, individual therapy, I have been missing the experience of participating in a mental health support group. I'm hoping that I can find that virtually right now. Would love any resources you can provide.

Virtual Mental Health Support Groups
Same for me....I had fortunately though at the time of starting sobriety many decades ago, as did my therapist who also recommended help with my other mental stuff, that at the time there were group therapy and ACOA that could help me realize I wasn’t alone in this.
This site is unique in that people try to be supportive, and excel in kindness as opposed to some sites that just beat you over the head with being on the 'pity pot' and tell you that just being clean and sober is all you need. It is a good start, and critical to stay clean and sober, but for many of us we also need mental health support. 1 in 3 people in recovery also suffer from the disease of depression, and others have child abuse, trauma, and other mental health issues. For me to stay sober, dealing with my depression and child abuse was a critical part of my recovery.
Hi, friend of mine recommended Recovery International. I just looked up their website right now and they have all different kinds of meetings for depression including virtual meetings.
