support groups

does anyone know of any in person support groups for depression? I’ve tried looking online but they’re all so expensive. It would be nice if they had them like they do for AA and stuff like that. I’m in the New Hampshire area if anyone has any suggestions.

I found them hard to find. There are some government MH lines in NH that might be able to help.

I worked throughout nh for a few years from haverhill ma to n Conway and back. I used to drive the kancamagus way too fast back then.

I agree - I've looked for some type of online support group but it doesn't really seem to exist. People say they've had success with NAMI, but I haven't had any luck there. I'll be happy to connect with you and other folks who are interested in starting one.

Try your local NAMI chapter they usually have them and if not they might be able to refer you to one.

Try asking at your local Episcopalian church, this is the Anglican church in U S A; they should have details of free - groups - You do not have to be a church member - worth asking, if you need any help in doing this I can make enquiries from here in UK if you mention which area of New Hampshire
