Does anyone have any tips on falling asleep and staying asleep? I suffer from anxiety and depression, but I’ve been able to manage the symptoms pretty well to the point where it doesn’t even bother me. My problem is, whenever bedtime comes around I begin to get anxious and I can feel this negative, dark, and heavy feeling begin to crawl into my body at night. I’ll end up falling asleep at around 9:15, and sleep pretty decent until around 12, then I can’t fall back to sleep because my body feels weird. No pain, just this overall weirdness where I can’t relax or get comfortable. I’d appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance 😃

Can’t stay alseep
I used to get this a lot,still do on occasion. Sounds simple but sometimes I'll convince myself I've had enough sleep already,go make a cup of tea and return to bed,listen to some relaxing music and lay there thinking it doesn't matter if I dont get another minute of sleep as my body will give me what I need,more often than not I'm so convincing at kidding my brain I'm not tired my convincing tires my body out,making me relax and leave half a cup of unfinished tea! Ha ha,I hope this works for you but just give in and let your body decide what it wants to do.☺
Guided meditation. I always thought meditation wouldn’t work for me, but I was taught it at the psych hospital & it REALLY works. There are tons of them online. I diffuser with a relaxing essential oil is good along with meditation, but be careful if you have a dog, some of them are toxic
Also melatonin works great. I take 10 mgs
Listen to the Bible app or listen to Meditation music
