I just found our that I can’t join my desired program of study in college for another year and will be in it for at least 5 years after. I want to be done. Why is this so hard? Why is it taking so long? I’m so done with this. I wish I could just drop out. I’m going to run out of classes to take before I can switch into the program. I hate this.

It’s a year to wait... isn’t this worth it? You can’t have it all right away! Everything good takes work! Can u take courses related to your program or take the required courses like language, maths or technology ones? The ones that are sort of related but required to take? It would at least lighten your load when you start!
Unfortunately, that happens. Some courses are only offered at certain semesters when the instructor and space is available. Can you pick up a minor to fill the credits? It is always good to have a minor in something, even if it is something like personal finance, which will help you run your income and I vestments after school.
It WILL end. I promise. I was a teacher. With professional development due constantly, I never stopped being a college student. I order transcripts from 12 colleges when I need them all. Pick something for you and your personal growth. Have fun with the classes. Yes, it sucks having to pay for another year. Do you have to wait because you don't have prerequisites or courses are not offered?
