Admittedly the nurses were very professional but very degrading esp since most of us are in awe of real nurses

Oh no. " just vets " who give of themselves for our safety.

In my practice nobody was " just"

Everyone is someone . They are also someone else's " someone".

I treated my patients all the same. Whether they were a doctor or a prisoner with police guard. My patients were people and I was responsible for their medical and emotional care.

Anything less than that was unacceptable to me.
