Dies anyone take meds for PTSD? I've been on Prozac only for years. Lately I'm feeling triggered and not safe again. I'm curious what meds help

There are many meds they may trial.

Honestly I feel therapy is the key. You can attempt to "drown" the ptsd symptoms on meds.

Then therapy is key. Talking out and looking at the trauma is the best way to go.

My opinion, that's what worked for me. I don't think listing my meds would be helpful. I've been off and on so many meds.

It's all our body chemistry as far as how we do with meds.

No meds have worked for me.I have had all the therapies you could try. One thing I found recently is an old friend that we reunited cares about me. I can laugh, and smile again, which helps me get though the nightmares, and triggers. So sorry your going through this, it’s god awful terrible, it’s runs your life.

I am on drugs for PTSD.Have done many kinds of therapies, the latest was TMS, it worked for 2 months, but I have had more traumatic things in my life so the triggers, and nightmares are still with me. The drugs only help me with the severe depression, and anxiety I have from it ,not the systoms of PTSD❤️
