I made a mistake at work the other day. It was a “beginner’s” error. I am so anxious/nervous that my boss is going to yell at me & have a negative performance review for me! She told me the lady before me was 99.9% accurate which is also driving me into high anxiety! I don’t know what to do because when I make mistakes at work I feel like I’m not good enough to do my job!

Making Mistakes
I’m just so worried about getting fired! I have never been let go or fired before!!! I feel so much pressure to be perfect. I just want to do a good job but is that enough?
We are human.
Don't get hung up on the comparison. It's actually unprofessional for your boss to say that. What's it supposed to prove.
Next time something happens just say you are very diligent with your work. You see the mistake and it won't happen again. Usually we learn from the mistake and it's something we pay closer attention to in the future.
We all do the best we can. Sometimes, for whatever reason, stuff happens.
Take some deep breaths and try and move on from this. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. No one goes to work to purposely make mistakes. We want to do the best job we can. I'm sure you do great work.
I used to have a sign in my office that read "if you never make a mistake, you'll never make anything" which is so true.
We all make errors some time in our life, we would not be human if we did not make errors.
You are new to the job, does your Supervisor not check your work at this time until you get yourself welded into your new position.
Move on any reasonable person would give you time to learn and check your own work.
Remember it does take time to learn a new work position
