I really don’t think anxiety is necessarily my problem I believe the way I feel physically causes me to have anxiety however I’ve had blood tests etc and the doctors have told me my only issue is a slight folic acid deficiency. I truly believe that if I felt okay physically I’d have no anxiety has anyone else felt this or can anybody weigh in as to why I maybe wrong I’m happy to hear your thoughts

Health-anxiety is a tricky subject because it causes many different problems. It can have you running to the doctor too much. It can have you avoiding the doctor completely when you absolutely need to go. On top of that, the stress from constantly worrying that there's something wrong with you can bring on or worsen stress-realted illnesses such as anxiety disorders or heart disease. My thoughts are that its okay to go to the doctor if you feel like there is something wrong and get tests done, because its better to be safe and get a clean bill of health. And its also important to manage your anxiety and get treatment for it because anxiety can cause physical symptoms and also worsen conditions. If you're managing your anxiety, then you can check that off as something thats NOT causing your symptioms. Healthline has a pretty thorough article on health-anxiety that might be good to look over and see if you connect with anything on there.

Thank you very much for your reply and I apologise for the lateness of mine I’ve been to the GP previously and basically had a clean bill of health other than a folic acid deficiency. Which can cause a few not nice symptoms. However I feel like if I felt okay physically there would be no to lend with my anxiety. I have been diagnosed with health anxiety ocd and depression
