Just wanted to introduce myself. I’m 66 retired. I’ve been dealing with GAD for about 10 years consistently. I really don’t understand how I got here. Nowadays Boredom sets of anxiety sensations. I’ve been taught CBT, I meditate, mindfulness has been added to my tool box, just started 50mg Zoloft but have been on other antidepressants throughout the years. I take 100mg of seroquel for sleep. Once I wake up I can’t get back to sleep. On .25 Xanax x 2 per day. Thoughts of never getting right again overwhelm me. Thoughts that I can’t explain are like arrows coming straight at me, which makes me feel defenseless. Anticipatory anxiety controls me. I joined to learn and correct what I might be doing wrong. I’m ready. Thank you 🙏.
