Anxiety at an all time high. It’s been a long time but I’m back now.

Hey guys.. it’s been so long since I’ve posted.. I’ve been dealing with anxiety but it’s been bearable.. before my cycle is when it peaks. Health anxiety and overall impending doom... so what brings me back today is my daughter (10) has had epilepsy (partial seizures) since she was 4. She’s been on Oxcarbazepine since age 4. This year we added a new medicine (Onfi) because the episodes picked up (guessing due to puberty) in March she started the Onfi along with the Oxcarbazepine. So she has not had any episodes at all with the Onfi added, last month in November her neurologist ok’d weaning off of Oxcarbazepine 🙌🏽Praise God!! She weaned off beautifully. But totay, she had a breakthrough seizure and it really hit me hard because I had gotten almost used to her being seizure free for 9month... Now I feel this fear all over again... I don’t know what to expect at this point and I’m just so afraid for my little girl and I feel so helpless.. afraid when she goes to sleep at night.. afraid for any random moment during the day... I’m just so worried.. they say she could possibly grow out of them but I’m just pushed 2 steps back now... I want to remain positive and hopeful but i don’t know how at this moment.... someone, Anyone, to talk to.. I would appreciate so much....

My family member is struggling with the same thing right now, his son who is younger than your daughter can’t get over the 6 month hump of being seizure free, from what I’ve observed they just stay positive and try to live like everything is normal. I wish I could help more but I think you just have to take it day by day for now

Thank you so much for your reply 🙏🏽It helps so much to know I’m not alone. I pray that the little guy surprises everyone and makes it over that 6month hump and beyond and remains seizure free 🌟I will keep it in mind to remain positive, live as tho everything is normal and just take it day by day. Thank you 💕

Hi RyRy, it has been a long time since you've posted. I'm sorry that it's

under these circumstances but I'm glad you reached out to us. Sometimes

it's just about getting the support and understanding you need right now.

I had a dear friend who had a daughter who experienced the same with

epilepsy. The doctors did say they she might grow out of it. Which she did.

She is now a young lady who is a successful scientist. Doing very well.

I hope you will stay positive. Take care of yourself. We are always here

for you. :) xx

Hi there Agora 💕💕 Yes you know it’s been a while for me.. I’m long away from the derealization I used to be so afraid of. I guess I can laugh about that sometimes now, at least a little before I start to freak myself out again lol.

About your friends daughter, woooooow... that is amazing!!!!! Bless your friend and her daughter 💕💕💕thank you so much for sharing that with me Agora 🌟🌟🌟🌟I appreciate that news so much right now in this moment... thank you so much for that.. I hope all has been well with you ☀️

I am so sorry that you and your daughter are going thru that fear and the seizures! I pray she does outgrow them soon. Do any foods she eats seem to make them worse? I had a friend that stopped giving their daughter any grains or grain foods and it calmed her down a lot. Also, magnesium might calm both of you a lot and stop the loops of fear and anxiety. Also, for you ginseng tea or pills is great to get rid of the sticky negative thoughts too. What about walks in the sun? Would that help both of you? Praying for you both in this, for answers and peace. Happy Holidays! =)

Hi!!!☀️Thank you soooo much for your response 💗honestly I’m not sure about the food, it’s so hard to pinpoint.. I used to take Magnesium and it was like magic for me, thank you for reminding me of that. I have to start them again. And I had NO idea about Ginseng... do the ginseng supplements work as well as the tea? Is there a specific brand or mg you can recommend??? I would love to try something natural to help with this.. I also have hypochondria really bad and I notice it picks up ALOT before my cycle, constantly ruminating about what ifs... it’s so bad.. I ate raw fish today and now I’m extremely worried that I shouldn’t have done that smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ it’s awful.. thank you so much for any recommendations you may have 💝and happy holidays to you as well 🌟💕

I'm sorry for the delayed response, I traveled to family for holidays and was quite busy. I"m glad I reminded you of what has helped before. Regarding the increase of worry at end of cycle, progesterone cream is great to balance hormones too. I think the tea works fine if it's a good brand. I use Nature's Sunshine for vitamins and ginseng, they are a great online company.
