living life day by day when you have depression

My advice would be to learn everything you can about this disease. Read how some cope with their depression during the down cycles, learn what people do to curb their sadness or feelings of despair. Join as many support groups as you can. The more irons in the fire, the more you have to choose from. We are all different, even though many of us here have the same disease. If you have not been properly diagnosed, I would do that. I would also talk to a therapist to see if there are any other extenuating circumstances that add to your depression as well. Trauma, abuse, PTSD, CPTSD, etc.
