I'm so sorry you are feeling this way, I understand that feeling when you want to be free from pain. But I really don't think self harm is the answer. Is there anything you have done in the past that has helped? If you don't have someone with you to talk to please continue to talk here and we'll listen and help if we can 🧡

Journaling and putting things into perspective helps momentarily for me - but what helps the most is feeling like I have responsibility and something to work on (like a project or adventure)

why?

getting damaged will not make you be better in any way.

If you really, really want, don't be an idiot and 'damage' yourself in a more healthy way - e.g. work out seriously. like 2-3 hours. or run some 5-8 miles. lets see those muscle pains the next morning and if you still feel the need to hurt.

.

just hurting yourself, e.g. for some reason little girls sometomes cut their hands, is the loser way

Go for a run! I’ve been there and I know what you mean. I actually boxed and it helped 🥊 Self harm is so bad for us. It only hurts us more. I’m sending you lots of hugs 🤗

I'd love to go for a run, although it right now is freezing so I will probably wait a bit haha

Lol 😂 I don’t blame you! I am also so lazy about exercise. But I like to give that advice to others lol.

Thanks for double checking, I had serious urges earlier but held back. Still in a bad place so not sure what I will do later on, for now just going to wait a bit

I am sorry you are facing this. I know for me coming out of depression was a matter of understanding my value and worth aside from any accomplishments I made. You were created and are loved for who you are not what you do. A faith in God has helped me to learn to love others and myself rightly. I'd encourage you to take time with God and learn who He is. There are great resources at local churches that can help you overcome this. My thoughts are with you!!
