The beginnings

I haven't lived very long and I am not very wise. I do not know how to support my friend but she seems to have had a rough start to life. Her father and mother were and still are emotionally abusive. At times when she was younger, they were also physically abusive. My friend struggles making lasting connections to people and constantly fears the motives of people around her. She wants to be far away from her family as they continue to stress her and constantly overstep her boundaries, not just with her but with her children. I want to help her get away from these people but I dont know how to help nor where to start.
