Grew up with abusive abusive coaches...…….and got worse in vet med......students and interns basically dirt...….you would think they would relate in the hosptials but find out they don't take or listen to histories...…..was very very tired when I was in the hospital due to two years of clinical rotations like Mash units...…..just buried in cases (literally not an exaggeration) 160 hour plus weeks...….
instead of rest...…..I got WW4 handed to me...……..destroyed my life and psyche...….taken thirty years to recover...……….accidently got attached to a nurse in the hospital...…...she was sooooooooooooooo kind to an elderly woman...……..four hours listening to her...…….holding her hand not saying a word...…….you could hear a pin drop...………..literally...………...enormously kind...……….four hours...…...hours listening and caring about this poor woman...……….
my doctor just laughed and told me to get a grip, called my fiancé who I had worked around the clock my favorite dyke...…...literally...………..you have no idea how much loathe this moron...………..the mental health system is polyanny about such doctors and hospitals...……...don't listen to praise or critcsm……...consumer beware is all I can say...…..
this site and people very different...………..stay away from bad doctors...…...and some nurses...…….ive seen great ones and eaten aliive by them ……..including psyche nurses. great good andhorrible………..protect yourself and ignore the bums...……forget the bad and push on ………...the system isn't set up for us to admire them...……better and safer to let the women...………...
the nurses were brilliant in many areas...…...genius nursing...…….no one wants to hear about it...……...many of us found art even though we were terrible at it at first...………..the nurses pressed us not to give up or make judgements about ourselves...…...they were sooooooo good to our friends...…...just have to accept no one cares...……...people don't realize we all started with stick figures...…..and terrbiel drawings but that wasn't the point with the nurses...……..particapateand practice practice...………..they never judged...…………….too bad no one knows about them...……...below isn't a Rembrandt but better than I ever thought I could do...……...all because of caring nurses who promote people...…….and don't judge don't judge and
believe in people...……..
they...………….are the some of the many
hidden heros………...breaks your heart what people go through...…..our doctors just laugh...………………….feel for the poor nurses who have to work with them...……..
