im really struggling with depression and I dont really know how to cope with some stuff. someone please help

First of all take a deep breath at least three times. Then realize that you are just as good as the rest and better than the best, Trust God completely and realize that you are your star player and you need to invest in you

Hello aseelissa. I am sorry to hear you are struggling. Have you ever spoken to the doctor about how you feel? That would be the first step to getting some support.

Welcome to the community. There are a lot of caring and knowledgeable people here who will share their experience strength and hope with you.

Depression is debilitating and I need professional help to deal with mine. I also have anxiety and PTSD, which adds to the misery.

Welcome Asee... welcome to the community. I'm fairly new here and have found support. I'm sorry you are hurting. Depression can definitely pull the rug out from under our feet. Everyone is different, but one thing that is similar is how depression can hijack our brain which causes us to conjure up and dwell on negative and painful scenarios. Counseling helps because you can unload stuff in a safe place. And they can help u navigate other things like considering medication or finding a psychiatrist. But I understand how depression can make even the smallest tasks seem overwhelming. Keep posting. and take one day at a time. Hugs

One thing at a time. Decide what's bothering you the most, and see if there's something you can do about it. You don't say if you have a therapist or are on medication, but both can help you cope. If your medication isn't working, discuss changing it. If you can do just one tiny little thing for yourself you might feel better, more in control, and less lost.
