Does anyone need someone to listen to them rant or just talk about their worries ?
I just...wanted to help someone out the way you guys helped me a while ago when I was going through a tough time. I feel better now and if anyone really just needs to talk, please let me know. I'd love to listen and help wherever I can

omg yes! why am i so obsessed with dying? or whenever i think about where i come from or where i’m going when i pass away, i start to feel extremely overwhelmed and just all around scared?
Ooo sounds a lot like my first anxiety issue back when I was 11. You're afraid of dying, are you ?
Truth is...our brain, the anxious one, decides to latch on to unnecessary worries. Worries that are meaningless. And obsesses over them. Over and over and over again. Until we get so agitated.
Honestly. Nobody knows when they'll die, or how or where they'll go. I mean, if you believe in a religion then there's heaven but even then, nobody has seen it. So we don't really know.
All we can do is just...LIVE.
Just..take a deep breath. Let your stomach expand. Hold it for 3 seconds. And exhale. Do it a few times and calm down.
Now, think about this : you're so obsessed with the idea of dying that you're missing out on the chance to live. Do you really want to do that ? We don't know when we'll die or how but we DO know that we can make every minute worthwhile. Don't let these thoughts run your mind. They are just what they are meant to be : thoughts. And thoughts are meaningless. They're just junk your brain latches on because it's bored and it's thinking of any worse case scenario putting your mind in perpetual alert for "danger" when there is none.
Whenever you feel overwhelmed. Take a deep breath. Like I told you how. That's step one.
Step 2 : understand that these thoughts are unnecessary and aren't meant to be pondered over. I mean...what are you gonna get from thinking of negative things ? Why not live life, be kind, and try your very best to be happy while you can still breathe. Don't overthink.
Step 3 : stop engaging. These are intrusive thoughts. They're annoying and troublesome. And they get stronger when we continuously think about them. So try to ignore them. Don't give them more attention and let them take control over your head.
Always remind yourself that these thoughts are NOT real and can be controlled. They don't control you. You don't have to be afraid. You're fine, you're alive, and you'll get through this.
hmm, yes. it does stop me from living but when these feelings start to overwhelm me it’s hard to get my inner voice to calm myself down. i understand there’s really no way to stop it from happening but idk, i feel like i have a hard time letting them ponder and leaving them behind & continuing forward. am i just fighting with myself?
Hey I know it can be hard. But you need to try and let your mind float with the anxiety. I have this article that really helped calm me down I'll link it to you.
Read this. It really puts into perspective what your feeling and thinking and how to control it.
Do you have a therapist ? I suggest getting one. They will help you tame these.
Look, it's a daily battle. Sometimes in between you'll have months where you barely have any anxiety and weird thoughts. But other days you will. You need to keep reminding yourself that these thoughts are unimportant and temporary.. slowly they will dissipate.
Sorry it took me so long to reply. Got a panic attack and couldn't bring myself to do so 😅
