Easily startled.

I don't know if this is a side effect of taking Remeron and zoloft but I feel like I easily startle and easily feel over stimulated. Like if I'm watching something, and it is slightly disturbing, I almost feel a sensory overload. Does anyone else experience this?

Always have and probably always will Plato38 since our nervous system is

over sensitized. It doesn't take much to startle us or feel overstimulated.

I can't imagine walking through a haunted/spook house for Halloween :)

You're not alone with that feeling and sensation. xx

Some people are even born this way.

For anxiety you could say our light switch is always about to be turned on. For me that used to mean someone was going to get sliced by my ugly tongue. Same reaction though. Peaceful moments with guided meditation, gentle exercise, no caffeine and cutting back on sugar daily was very helpful to me.

My son was born this way. I put him on a daily regimen early. I can tell when he misses the gym.

Best of luck to you
