Dizzy and funny head feelings.
Is the Ativan prescribed for sleep?
No its for panic attacks. The most ive taken is .5mg. Im thinking about asking my doc to see if i can take more or something.
Ya talk to him
You should be able to figure something out that works.
Do you take it for sleep?
I did for many years and it worked
I'm not sure how much they prescribe it for that anymore due to the dependency issues.
How many mgs did you take? I think the dependancy thing is stupid, you can be dependant on anything. If it helps it helps.
I was on .5 and became dependent on it
And I will tell you it was not a pleasant feeling.
Why do you say that? I dont see myself being dependant on it. Ive been on it a month or so and no issues at all. It relaxs me.
I'm talking after years .5 didn't work so I got an increase.
Then I had to use it for anxiety
If I didn't take it I was getting nausea, vomiting, sweats, dizzy, shakes
I was having withdrawal.
I took it as prescribed but some days didn't feel I needed to take it for sleep and I'm telling you missing one dose after all that time on it made a huge problem.
Remember I'm talking years. I never abused the drug. Took only how I was supposed to.
So it can and does happen to those of us doing the right thing
Hello. I get the palpitations and also numbness in my head. It's very distressing. The physical feelings of anxiety can be very bad for me. I try breathing techniques, meditate, going for a walk. Some days are worse than others. I've been told Do More, Think Less....
I know exactly what you mean. Tingling in the head. I think it’s just part of our reaction to anxiety and stress. I know it’s a creepy feeling. I have it every week at times.
