Looking at the site I notice that there are some actions people take that make them feel better almost universally. Here are some. Can anyone add things that make you feel better or subtract things that really do not:
Staying very busy
exercise
Telling others of your pain here
complimenting others
Cleaning up your area
Washing youself
special friends you are comfortable with
Asking for help
Helping others
Doing anything well
Listening to inspirational songs and talks
Listing accomplishments
Telling what you have successfully overcome
Eating healthy
Setting or Accomplishing goals
Visiting a body of water
Seeing beauty
If you are up to it please make a personal list. I want to learn what makes us feel good.

lillyofthevalley37 animals are a whole area of experiences that make us feel good. Remember how much I have enjoyed others pets, and how much I enjoyed them as a kid
1♡Making time to do to things that make me happy each day. During the week its relaxing before bed watching my fave shows, sometimes pampering myself with face masks or beauty routine.
On weekends going out to see friends or go to a fun event. Even just fishing or kayaking. Doing things with family.
2♡Staying organized is a big one. Keeping all my to do lists available, scheduling things to remember in my phone. Keeping my bedroom super clean. Having our surroundings in order makes all the difference and being organized prevents feeling overwhelmed/anxious. When working on organization and cleaning start off small and always have a reward after 1, 2 or 5 hours whatever it may be that you can do that day. A goal time that youll allow yourself to do something fun after youre done.
3♡Building a "team you" a support system of all the people that love and care for you. Doesnt matter if its 10 main people or just 2... just have people you can talk too so you dont have to feel alone.
4♡Stop procrastinating and stop isolating yourself. 2 things that depression will cause. But try steps 1 -3 first when you are ready to make a change
5♡Accept mental illness is a part of you. Instead of telling yourself how depressed or anxious you are... try and make the changes to cope. Reach out for help, you. dont have to face it alone. If you lack support make a friend on here or schedule apt with a counselor.
6♡ love yourself. Tell yourself "you got this" I turn my anxiety into motivation... and that helps a lot. Sometimes when im having an off day, ill just laugh it off.
7♡ knowing it will soon be better. Soon this will be a memory of a time we had to battle our inner demons. We survive and come out stronger than ever. Youll have a new appreciation for life, the little things. Working on yourself is so rewarding. Being able to cope is a huge weight lifted. I have little successes each day because I allow my self to know I deserve the praise I feel for myself and positive feed back from others about my progress.
8♡ take care of yourself from the inside out.
These are all things Ive been doing the last 3 months. And im happier than I ever thought I could be. I still struggle on a daily basis but the way I use that struggle is to constantly find new ways to react to tough stuff that wont be harming my success. Wishing everyone the relief and happiness they deserve! I could go on and on but Ill leave it at this list of detailed 8☆
