We all are special and we have some qualities that separate us from the rest of the world. I want you to write any three such qualities that make you special. This will help you to spend some time thinking about yourself and hope it makes you feel better.
My three qualities are as follows
1. I love football more than anything in the world
2. I'm very kind and try to help others
3. I don't like hurting anyone and can't see anyone in pain
I love your post! My 3 are: I am funny and have a great sense of humor. I have a whole lot of empathy for others (sometimes I think maybe too much, if that's possible), I am a very visual person meaning if someone uses the phrase "I want to pick your brain", you can imagine my visual !
I often associate a life situation or anything, even funny that comes up with a song.
I really like to help people if I can at all
I have a terrible problem that when I am being friendly to some people, other people often think I fancy the person if they are male, l don't know what people think they see, people saying this is slanderous, as I am happily married.
I put this down as a factor 'cos l feel not many other people eould have this awful problem in their lives. This has plagued me greatly for the last year or so in particular. It makes me afraid to talk to any males in my locality now in case people comment.
It is so unfair. I am simply friendly, and now feel l can't be.
I speak Hebrew, Spanish, Uodfish and bits and pieces of other languages that help me connect to people of various ethic groups and cultures2. Do New York Times crossword puzzles in ink
3. Compassionate to those people who R going thru large struggles in their lives
1.I think and feel really deep. My inner world is vivid and rich. It has its demons but it has its Heaven inside and that's what makes a world complete. 2.I'm an empath. I can feel people's feelings even when we're not at the same place. And i understand them better than they understand themselves. And i always try to help others.
3.I went through hell and survived. The whole world crashed down and i pulled out perfect marks, carried about mom, carried about sis, carried university. And grew up as a person
1. I place others needs above my own.
2. I am a committed Christian.
3. I love spending quality time with my wife, children and granddaughters.
1. my laughter on people and my jokes and everything 2. everything that helps me and that i deal with and what to feel better is what i help people with and stuff cause i have exsperence , and 3. i like helping people that has many things to deal with , and people that has mental health and people that have disorders and everything..
1. I've been riding motorcycles and shooting firearms since I was 10 years old (55 yr old now with a motorcycle license but no bike currently), but I do NOT hunt animals! I'm actually a rescuer
2, I have my CDL's and drove a school bus for the mentally and physically handicapped adults and children for 7 years. Also drove a dump truck for a while, but the men were too touchy-feely for my liking (I'm old-fashioned).
3. I've been singing since I was 6. Started in bars (singing southern rock and country) and when I became a mother, transferred to Christian rock. I have made a CD and have videos on youtube
Now, on to reading everyone else's ... so interesting!
While I'm certainly not special, just off the top of my head is:
1. I do anything to help my children and most often sacrifice myself in favor of doing more for them. This is steady and unwavering rather than once in a while. That's my life, other than this I don't have a life.
2. I'm so unremarkable that I can walk into a room and no one ever notices me. I can even walk past the ticket collecting person at the movie theater without him or her noticing. If I'm in a conversation, the other person quite often just walks away. Even when I'm in a public restroom, those automatic faucets that turn on or the automatic paper towel dispenser does its thing don't recognize me when I move my hands in front of them. Seriously, I have to wave them around for a while before anything happens. Quite frankly, if you asked for one word that describes me it is definitely unremarkable, sort of the antithesis of this question. It's not bad or good, it just is. It's almost funny in a melancholy sort of way.
3. I have clinical depression and major anxiety disorder. While it may not seem different or special, particularly in this forum, I have to say that it's very serious and always has been. This is only my observation but, in the general public, those that speak about their depression, most often have what I refer to as "depression lite." While it's serious, it's something that can be managed by talking with someone or by getting in front of a light box or taking a low dose of meds. I never mention what I'm suffering from. People just wouldn't understand what it's like. Those suffering the same, know what I'm talking about. I would most likely break down in tears if I had to articulate what clinical depression is really like. Most people, despite what they may think, would never understand what it's really like, when your bones actually ache, when you have that overwhelming feeling , both mental and physical, of complete dread, that constant pit in your stomach that never goes away, or feeling like you're freezing on a hot summer day. or the voices around you, no matter how loud or direct, slowly fade into silence, where your left with your own outwardly quiet but inwardly loud sense of impending doom....it's awful.
I think your very strong. You know what your going through as you've explained how you feel but your still trying. You are remarkable.... Stay strong ❤
What an awesome post. It's funny in that, it takes me several paragraphs of babbling to articulate myself in my post and you can blow it away(in a good way) with a terrific two line reply.😀
You said it all in your comment what you are going through and I understood. Somehow I can relate. I said it from my heart and you understood, its simple 😊
Same here. I'm much better at one-on-one interactions. More of an introvert by nature, I guess. I'm definitely biased, but I think introverts are more interesting people on the whole.
