Sick: Why do I always think I have... - Anxiety and Depre...
Sick
Same! I cannot tell you how many cancers I have diagnosed myself with. I make countless doctors appointments to double check. Just last month I made an appointment to talk about my possibility of having throat cancer. Turns out, allergies. My doctor finally literally said to me "Becca, you are not a medical unicorn. Stop diagnosing yourself with rare cancers for someone your age and health."
When I feel fatigued, I panic. When I get a hot flash I panic. I feel every ache, twitch, and itch. I get a headache, I assume it is a tumor, stroke, or annyerisum. It drives me insane. The only good thing about all of this is that we pay attention to every little detail of our bodies that if we do experience actual symptoms of something bad, we can find it early. Early detection is key right? At least that is what I keep telling myself.
Unfortunately the physical symptoms of anxiety and depression are so dang broad that you can assume the worst just by feeling a little jittery out of nowhere. Stupid hypochondria!
Ye it sucks but honestly can't help it when a never feel good it's like I'm in a bubble hard to explain tbh. No one seems to understand me in my family there so negative about me. And also can I ask do you feel shit all time aean a don't go out through it. Wow it' amazes me how bad a feel. Always feel full and sick like I'm so weak tired dizzy I'm my own world. How do you feel in your self x
I have had a ton of physical symptoms related to anxiety. Headaches, fatigue, dizzy spells, tingling, numbness, brain fog, confusion, irritable, jittery, abdominal issues, hot flashes, cold extremities, etc... I understand the negativity, but it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. They just don't get it. That's okay. This is a tough lifestyle we have. You're okay and you're not alone.
Hi not sure if you are weak and tired because you have gastro intestinal problems as well as depression or if you have a rotten week. When you feel ghastly may be it is the drugs or how long they take to work. If you think it is the drugs then would phone your pharmacy and ask about your symptoms of weakness muscle fatigue as these physical symptoms are debilitating so you can't get with your life. Sure someone will have tried the drug you are on for feedback. Take care.
I'm not on any drugs tbh. Don't take anything as I'm scared of side effects etc
Checklist :- Multifold intolerances such as grains egg and dairy all at once
Menopause hormonal problems with hot flushes anxiety. This can be due to oestrogen dominance or progesterone deficiency. When you go to your doc you would have to ask for tests before a prescription.
Vitamin or mineral deficiency which may be due to your gut unable to absorb them.
Iron deficiency anaemia might be linked with vitamin D and Vitamin B12 deficiency.
Thyroid problems. Full thyroid test should be done as results may appear ok unless your thyroid antigen levels are tested for as they can create flares.
Diabetes. This can cause fatigue and make you dizzy.
The commonest food to cause certain symptoms such as brain fog weakness is gluten found in oat wheat rye and barley. That sounds clear but in some people you can be food intolerant to the grains without having a gluten allergy. If you live in the US you can ask for tests for celiac disease which will test for gluten dairy and egg. I am speaking from experience of having diabetes type 2 and food intolerances which have improved since removing all potential food intolerances.
Other ordinary foods you like such as coca cola have caffeine in them as well as sulphur dioxide to give the fizz. They also contain a flavouring of kola nut seed which may be related to peanut allergy. These fizzy drinks may be sweetened with sucrulose which turns into sugar in the liver. Some people may experience anxiety from these drinks. Caffeine is in tea coffee and chocolate but it is the tannins which can affect your blood in tea which prevents absorption of iron. Migraines may occur too with coffee chocolate and cheese. It has been a long learning curve. I don,t
drink tea any more as my cups were black stained so what do tannins do in your stomach. I had hot flushes with tea which reduced when I stopped drinking tea.
It is so boring when you change your diet but it can make you feel much better. High stress levels can cause high stress hormone. Adrenal fatigue gives you all those symptoms but might be helped by taking high doses of vitamin c which helps to reduce toxins in your blood and repair your cells helping iron absorption and flushing out metals. Hope some of these tips might help but everyone is different!
