Brain nerve pinched near spine?

Im worried i have an anyeurysm or pinched nerve. I get tunnel vision, dizzy, heavy/lightheaded, head pressure and funny feelings, im surprised i havent passed out. I also get weakness in left arm sometimes as well as back pain out of nowhere. It seems to get worse when i go out and i seem sensitive to sunlight when its bright. Itchy skin as well. Anyone know anything what i might have or ever have neurological disorders? The antidepressants dont seem to work quite yet but i take ativan. Please help:((

Hi there. I would suggest seeing a doctor. It could be any number of things. I have herniated discs and bone spurs in my neck. I get a lot of the same symptoms. I also recently had a bad reaction to an antibiotic and was put on blood pressure med to get my heart rate to go down but I had a bad reaction to that as well. I had all of your symptoms and then some with each reaction. How long have you been on the Ativan and anti depressant? I’m sorry you are experiencing all of this. It’s awful! hope you figure it out and feel better soon!

Ive seen the doc already. See him again this month. Ijust switched anti depressants been on for about 3 weeks and a couple days. Ativan for about a week and half. I was never really depressed though, just anxiety and panic attacks. Maybe i need to see a neurologist?

You sound overstrained to me. antideps never worked for me. made me angry and ratty. I think your doc would've done something major had you had an aneurysm. they don't take such things lightly. I think you need to take some deep breathes as it sounds like a migraine with all the light issues and things. have a big glass of water and try to do something that has a calming effect on you like books/ music/ specific tv programmes or just having a lie down. talk to ur doc about whats stressing you . I know u said this is causing u stress, ….but something may have kicked you off before this all happened. are you eating/ drinking/ sleeping properly. all these things effect you as u mentioned.

Try to stretch the muscles in your back and arm - it is likely to be induced by the tension in your neck. and lie flat on a hard surface to help your back and spine align.

I hope this helps

Goodluck

(P.s. I have to deal with many of the symptoms u mentioned so I know its difficult to calm urself down etc. so i'm not going to say such things).

Did you ever find the cause to how you were feeling? I'm dealing with the same symptoms and have had blood work done and ECG and it comes back fine. On antidepressants and ativan and still not finding much relief.
