Sinus infection and panic attacks

Hello.

I do suffer from anxiety but can usually cope.

For almost 3 weeks I have had a bad cold which rapidly affected my sinuses. I went on holiday and the plane journey caused extreme pain in my sinuses. I have had sinus issues before but nothing like this. Head pain, neck pain, tooth ache and bad taste in my mouth. Anyway, I used a nasal spray and also got some other things from the pharmacist on holiday.

One eve at dinner I felt like I swallowed a small fish bone and went into panic. I thought I couldn't breathe although I could and husband was not helping. Calmed down after about half an hour.

This was 6 days ago and I am back in the UK. I haven't eaten properly for 5 days now. A few to times when I have eaten I have got panicky so am barely eating. Yesterday I had a muffin and a sandwich. Today a pastry (it is now 2pm). I feel like I still have phlegm in my throat. Am still using nasal spray and am trying to drink a lot of water.

I feel rubbish and a nervous wreck.

Hi sometimes-the nasal spray especially steroid one can dry out your sinuses salene spray nasofed I find best ....best wishes

Thank you. I have been using a saline spray. For a few days I used an additional spray from Greece as well. I left it in Greece as apparently it isn't sold in the UK anymore! X
