I assume most people don't follow the WNBA, but Liz Cambage was last season's leading scorer and MVP runner-up. She is quite literally one of the best basketball players in the world. Not female basketball players, basketball players.
She requested a trade in the offseason. Turns out it was to be closer to her support network.

I really liked what she said about discussing the "ugly" parts of these struggles, rather than just tweeting "#mentalhealth". I think a lot of the discussion on social media these days about mental health glosses over it e.g. memes. It always makes me feel kind of bad actually: like "Wow, everyone's anxiety seems so much less serious than mine, based on the way they post about it."
This place is a bit more real, I think.
