My vision has slowly been changing. I see shadows. Space out. Feel numbness in left side of face or head. Like pressure on my brain or even pinching at certain points. It makes me feel dizzy. Its like my brain cant keep up with my eyes or eyes cant keep up with brain. The eyedoctor said my eyes were fine. So i think its something neurological. If anyone knows any of these symptoms plz help. I take zoloft 50mg currently, only been on like 2 weeks and ativan as needed.

Anyone ever feel like there vision has drastically changed and not know why? Is it anxiety?
Hi Mike,
I found that moderate to high anxiety will mess with my vision. It can make it hard to focus and a whole host of other symptoms. I agree with your description of my brain not keeping up with my eyes. I say we should agree with your eye doctor that your eyes are okay because you have described negative effects anxiety can cause us. Unfortunately. I suspect if you can relax at these times and get your anxiety to come down and stay down, your eyes will perform better for you. Sometimes this also happens if you haven't had much sleep for days. It will go away entirely if you have low anxiety month after month. That's the good news. At least, that's been my experience. Best of health to you in the future! Take care, Mike. 😉
I get some of these symptoms as well. Also, eye twitching and "foggy eyes" like im wearing dirty glasses. My eyes are just fine and i found it hapoens in times of high stress. I try not to worry about it because its one more thing to keep me up at night
Mine has changed it is difficult for me to read some things now I have been going up on my prescription glasses but it does not help. Did you find out if anxiety can do that?
