Hi guys I’ve been on Zoloft for two years and like most meds, it’s running its’ course. I kept seeing commercials for a new antidepressant Trintellix so I decided to try it. The first week I weened off the Zoloft and started 5mg of the Trintellix. I was VERY moody, which I know is normal when going off a medication and starting a new one. So it’s been about a month now and I’m not feeling much of a difference. I’m not worse, but I also don’t feel any better and I guess my anxiety is a little higher. Does anyone have advice or their own stories on Trintellix? I also really want to try Latuda. So I guess same question for that?
Much LOVE 💜

Latuda is for bipolar depression. Quite frequently if that is not your issue you will have side effects of paranoia. Just be careful and report to your doctor. Best of luck to you dear 💛
Thanks so much! I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder at age 15 but I also chopped it up to be teenage hormones. As I got older (around 28 I realized I have major depression and anxiety). I feel like my mania calmed down because my depression and anxiety freezes me up to the point I don’t want to do anything. Im now 37 and I’m starting to feel that nothing works. I just don’t know if I should continue the Trintellix or just go back on Zoloft.
