Do these 3 things when Depressed

I can't recall which Doctor it was but he said when your depressed to have 3 goals. Say you wake up at 9....

1. Brush your teeth.

2. Shower.

3. Take 8 minute walk outside.

These can be hard to do when very depressed but have the greatest results. Hope this helps someone as it's helped me.

Yes taking walks always adds something positive to my day.

I usually wait till after breakfast before I go out side, but I could manage 8 minutes first I'm sure . I realised when I read your post(thanks) that on mornings when I went into garden before breakfast - though had 2 cups coffee! i felt benefit... will persevere

I think this is great advice but I would have to add get dressed after step 2 and before step 3!
